Eman's Story
The ongoing war has completely destroyed our home, leaving my family with no place to go. We are facing harsh conditions without the basic necessities of life. Most heart-breakingly, we have already lost half of our family members in this conflict.
I am reaching out to you today to help the remaining members of my family find a safe place to live and to provide them with food, clean water, and medical needs. My only hope is to provide them with a roof over their heads and a chance to survive these devastating times.
Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards securing a shelter and supporting my family's survival. If you cannot donate, please share our story.
Thank you for your kindness and humanity.
- Eman Alyaziji
Before the war, Eman was a licensed psychologist and a practicing henna tattoo artist. She was newly married, highly ambitious, and hopeful for the future.
Now, Eman is trying her best to survive another day. She is also caring for 13 young children. These are the children of her martyred relatives. Eman's niece, Dania, was also martyred.
Eman and her husband are also taking care of her sick mother, who requires expensive treatment that they often cannot afford. In addition, Eman's mother cannot consume legumes without severe medical consequences, yet that is the only sustenance they can obtain the most; that is, if they can get their hands on food at all.
Yet despite these hardships, Eman continues to push forward and support her loved ones as much as she can.
Due to some mishaps with her previous fundraiser and its organizer, Iman has not been able to access her donations. She and her family are facing eviction. They are already late on rent due to this situation, and require funds as urgently as possible. The young children and her sickly mother are in no condition to live without shelter. There is very little work available as well. Please find it within your heart to help this wonderful human and her beautiful family.
Rest in Peace, sweet Dania
